What it's like to own

Anker's second-generation C1000 raises output to 2,000 W (3,000 W peak), more than any other 1 kWh model here, so it can run a microwave, a coffee maker or a window AC on its own.

HyperFlash charging pulls 1,600 W from the wall and fills the battery in 49 minutes, and 600 W of solar gets it full in about 1.8 hours. A time-of-use mode charges off-peak and powers your devices when electricity costs more.

Owners report running an AirSense 11 CPAP for three nights on a charge and getting through an ice storm with it. At 24.9 lb it's also among the lightest 1 kWh units.
