A CPAP without the heated humidifier draws about 30–60 W; with heat it's closer to 90 W. Over an eight-hour night that's roughly 300–400 Wh without heat and 700 Wh or more with it, before inverter losses.

How to choose

Nights, not hours

Multiply your CPAP's watts by 8 hours and divide into 85% of the station's capacity to get nights per charge.

Skip the heat when you can

Turning off the heated humidifier and tube can double or triple runtime.

UPS mode

A 10 ms switchover means an outage at 3 a.m. doesn't stop therapy.

DC is more efficient

Many CPAPs have a 12 V or 24 V DC adapter. Running from DC skips the inverter and can add 15–20% runtime.
